Lathrop, MO – Woman Injured in Crash on MO-116 at I-35

Lathrop, MO (September 25, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision left one woman injured Monday evening, September 22, on MO-116 at I-35 in Lathrop, Clinton County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 5:58 p.m. when a 2024 Kenworth tractor attempted to make a left turn into a private drive. The truck entered the path of a westbound 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and the two vehicles collided head-on.

The Jeep’s driver, a 37-year-old woman from Lathrop, sustained minor injuries. Tri-County EMS transported her to Liberty Hospital for treatment. The 65-year-old man driving the Kenworth, from Shawnee, KS, was not reported injured. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and were towed from the scene.
