Clay County, MO – Man Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash on I-35 S Near MM 10
Clay County, MO (September 25, 2025) – A three-vehicle collision left one man injured on Tuesday morning, September 23, on I-35 South near the 10-mile marker.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred at around 9:30 a.m. when traffic slowed due to another accident blocking the left lane. A 2017 Toyota, driven by a 60-year-old woman from Liberty, was unable to stop and struck the rear of a 2013 Chevrolet. A 2025 Ford F-150 then hit the back of the Toyota, causing it to strike the Chevrolet a second time.
The 23-year-old man driving the Chevrolet sustained minor injuries and was transported by Kansas City Fire EMS to North Kansas City Hospital. Both the Toyota and Chevrolet sustained moderate damage and were towed from the scene, while the Ford was driven away.
We wish the injured driver a swift recovery. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
