Austin, TX – One Killed in Crash on W Parmer Ln Near I-35
Austin, TX (October 23, 2025) – A man was killed late Tuesday evening following a serious crash in North Austin.
According to Austin-Travis County EMS, emergency crews responded around 9:20 p.m. to the 500 block of West Parmer Ln. Police confirmed that one man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Initial reports from the Austin Police Department indicated the victim may have been a pedestrian, but investigators later said he might have been ejected from his vehicle during the collision. The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Authorities shut down Parmer Lane in both directions between I-35 and Center Lake Drive while emergency teams worked at the scene. The roadway reopened around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.
