Minneapolis, MN – Two Hurt in Collision on I-35 W near 26th St
Minneapolis, MN (August 9, 2025) – Two motorcyclists were injured on Saturday afternoon, August 9, in a crash on northbound Interstate 35W near the West 26th Street overpass in Minneapolis.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 2:02 p.m. and involved at least two motorcycles. Emergency crews responded quickly, blocking two northbound lanes while assisting the injured riders and clearing the scene.
Both motorcyclists were transported to a local hospital to be treated for injuries they sustained in the crash. At this time, the extent of their injuries has not been reported. Police continue to investigate the details of the incident.
Significant traffic delays occurred in the area as lanes remained blocked for some time. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
