Laredo, TX – Man Killed in Auto-Pedestrian Crash on I-35 at 4500 block  

Laredo, TX (September 21, 2025) – A tragic auto-pedestrian accident claimed the life of a 33-year-old man early Sunday morning, September 21, on Interstate 35 in Laredo. The collision occurred around 5:45 a.m. in the 4500 block of the southbound lanes. According to the Laredo Police Department, the victim, identified as Sebastian Guerrero, was attempting to cross I-35 on foot when a 2015 Toyota Prius struck him.

Despite immediate response from police and medical teams, Guerrero was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin were notified shortly after. Investigators confirmed that the driver of the Prius stopped immediately, cooperated fully with police, and showed no signs of impairment. Officers noted that the area was poorly lit at the time of the crash, which may have contributed to the tragic incident.

The southbound lanes of I-35 were closed for several hours while authorities conducted their investigation and cleared the roadway.
