Gardner, KS (August 4, 2025) – A fatal crash occurred on Saturday, August 2, near the intersection of 175th Street and the Interstate 35 off-ramp in Gardner. The Gardner Police Department responded to the scene around 11 a.m. following reports of an injury crash.

The crash involved two vehicles, and Brian Peters, a 45-year-old man from Edgerton, Kansas, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver involved in the crash was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The individual is cooperating with law enforcement as the investigation continues.
