Dallas, TX – Fatal Pedestrian Crash on I-35E/Oak Lawn Leaves One Dead

Dallas, TX (September 29, 2025) – A pedestrian was struck and killed early Monday morning in a crash on I-35E near Oak Lawn Avenue. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office reports the incident happened around 5:00 a.m. in the southbound lanes near Market Center Boulevard. Deputies arrived to find the pedestrian critically injured after being hit by an oncoming vehicle. Despite lifesaving efforts, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver involved remained on-site and cooperated with investigators. Multiple lanes were closed for several hours while authorities conducted a reconstruction of the crash.
